Bespoke websites:
A basic website of up to five pages is available for as little as £250. Designed using HTML & CSS only, these sites offer complete freedom of design.I can work from existing artwork, or develop a look to suit your site. Additional features can also be included, such as: a contact form, image slideshows, sound files and animated buttons.

Paul Butler Associates is an independent chartered town planning and development consultancy that provides specialist planning advice for public and private sector clients. They required a site that:
- showcases the many building projects they are involved in;
- includes a small gallery of images for each project;
- is clear to navigate.
WordPress websites:
For those who wish to update their own sites on a regular basis, for example to post regular news items, I use WordPress as a very user-friendly content management system. I adapt templates to customise WordPress to suit a variety of uses. Prices start at £350.

Helen Smith conducts humanist funeral ceremonies. Thematically, the site needed to be soothing, but neutral. The WordPress blogging function is used for case studies.

Website Maintenance:
I provide ongoing maintenance for many of the sites I originally designed, which is often a very cost-effective way of maintaining your site. I also maintain some sites that have been designed elsewhere.

Heritage Works is a buildings preservation trust, involved in trying to save a number of historic buildings throughout the northwest. I write regular updates for the News section, as well as keeping project pages up-to-date.
